Purple and gold reign once again.

The Los Angeles Lakers — fresh off winning the franchise's 17th championship in the bubble — sold more official merchandise in the United States than any other NBA team through the first half of the 2020-21 season, the league revealed on Thursday.

Not surprisingly, LeBron James, in his 18th season, topped the jersey sales list.

The results were based upon NBA store website sales from the start of the season through last week. No sales figures were released.

Despite the abbreviated, 71-day offseason, the 36-year old James has put together an MVP-caliber campaign in 2020-21. He's missed only one game — the final contest before the All-Star break — and has largely carried the load for the 24-13 Lakers, especially since Anthony Davis went down with a calf strain on Valentine's Day.

Through 36 games, James has averaged 25.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game, while shooting 50.9 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from beyond the arc. Besides the lack of load management, James' general effort on defense has been a valuable surprise for L.A. this season, too.

James' teammate, Anthony Davis, ranked no. 7 in jersey sales. Alex Caruso ranked 11th (just kidding).

LeBron's jersey and Lakers merch has topped the sales chart each year dating back to 2018, including during the 2020 Restart. James led the league in jersey sales from 2009-15.

The Brooklyn Nets are selling merchandise like never before, thanks to the addition of James Harden to the dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. All three superstars are in the top-10 in jersey sales through the first half.

New Orleans Pelicans sophomore Zion Williamson (no. 10) cracked the top-10 for the first time in his career.

Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors topped jersey and merchandise sales in Canada, per the NBA. The Lakers ranked second in merchandise North of the Border, while James' jersey sales ranked ninth.
