Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James surprised a lot of fans with his appearance at Giveon's concert in LA on Tuesday. While it certainly looked like he had no plans of taking the spotlight in the venue, he just couldn't say no to the invitation of the R&B singer.
Giveon called LeBron on stage, chanting the name of the Lakers forward to encourage him to jump in the fun. James obliged and sent the fans into frenzy, with the NBA great dapping Giveon before exchanging pleasantries (via Jovan Buha of The Athletic).

After the concert, both stars in their respective industries gave each other a shoutout on Instagram. LeBron James was clearly impressed with Giveon, noting that a âstar was bornâ in the said concert. The singer, for his part, thanked the Lakers leader for coming to his concert and supporting him.

For what it's worth, though, not a lot of people are impressed with what happened. Giveon's fans were undoubtedly ecstatic to see LeBron in person in the concern, which was a welcome surprise.
Unfortunately, some NBA fans are concerned about LeBron and the Lakers given the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. It is always best to avoid crowded places amid the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, especially with the league still dealing with multiple cases everyday.

On the replies section of Buha's tweet, fans expressed just that:

Certainly, the Lakers are hoping that won't be the case. After all, LeBron was simply enjoying his well-deserved time off amid his hectic schedule.
