The Los Angeles Lakers season has ended in June. While that would normally be a good thing, this season means it is a first-round exit. LeBron James and the Lakers lost a six-game series to the Phoenix Suns after Anthony Davis went down with an injury.

LeBron is watching the playoffs from home and sent a message across the entire league with a rather interesting social media post.

Don't poke the bear.

LeBron is already gearing up for another long NBA Finals run in the 2021-2022 season as the Lakers will surely benefit from a long layoff after such a short turnaround after winning the Finals in the Orlando Bubble last season.

LeBron was marvelous once again and had an ankle injury bother him for the later portion of the season and never quite looked like himself after returning from injury. Nonetheless, he did his part, but the loss of Anthony Davis was ultimately too much to overcome a hot-shooting Suns team led by Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton with Chris Paul running the point.

While the Lakers season ended earlier than expected, LeBron's Gladiator reference should have the rest of the NBA worried for the upcoming season, especially with the Lakers already rumored to make big moves in free agency or via the trade market in an effort to bring this team back to championship contention and bring home title number 18.

Watch out, LeBron James isn't going anywhere.
