After a disappointing first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James seems ready to get back to his roots in anticipation of a bigger and better outing with L.A. next year. Recently, the 34-year-old teased the basketball world by stating that he is currently considering bringing back his epic pregame chalk toss in the upcoming season.

We haven't seen this from LeBron for quite a while now, so it would definitely be a welcome sight moving forward. For Lakers fans, they're probably more than willing to support any pre-game/in-game/post-game ritual James — or any member of the team for that matter — might want to pull off so long as it somehow gives the team a chance for a much better performance in the upcoming season.

From a numbers standpoint, James did not exactly have the worst year last season as he was still able to put up 27.4 points (on 51.0 percent shooting), 2.0 three-pointers, 8.5 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 35.2 minutes per contest.

However, the four-time season MVP was only able to play a total of 55 games last season due to injury. This was his lowest mark throughout his 16-year career, and as a result, he was unable to lead his side to a postseason appearance.

It's definitely going to be much different this year, though, with Anthony Davis now in the mix. James has a few more good years left, and we fully expect a tremendous bounce back season for him and the Lakers.
