LeBron James is beginning a fresh chapter of his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Making the move from Cleveland to L.A. is never an easy thing to do, but James has not had many problems with it. The media may be a bit tougher, but LeBron has been finding ways to win them over already.
In an article from USA Today, James had one of the funniest quotes of the early season thus far. As Eminem was blaring on the speakers during practice, James shared his opinion on the selection of music.
âTodayâs white boys Wednesdays,ââ James said. âSeriously. Youâre laughing, but todayâs white boys Wednesdays, so only white boy music day, which I enjoy. I love Eminem, but it wasnât just Eminem. We had a lot of good music today. For Luke (Walton, the Lakers' head coach) and Mad Max (Lakers assistant coach Mark Madsen), all those guys. It was a good day.ââ

James continued on to talk about how âwhiteboy Wednesday'sâ is a universal term, something along the lines of âtaco Tuesday.â
Article Continues BelowâItâs a universal thing, right? Itâs just like taco Tuesdays. Itâs a (expletive) thing. You guys look at me crazy when I said, it like, âOh, (expletive), white boys Wednesdays.ââ
Los Angeles is without question a perfect place for James to play this chapter of his career. If we are going to get entertaining quotes like this all season long, we are all in for a journey.
For those fans wondering how things are going on the court for the Lakers, James made sure to mention that the team is having fun together.
All of that being said, is âwhiteboy Wednesdayâ a thing for you in your musical lives? Or is that something that James and the Lakers have all to themselves?
