Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James is on track to average at least 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the third time in his career, which is second in NBA history behind the legendary Oscar Robertson.

Robertson averaged at least 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists five times during his Hall of Fame career, according to Basketball Reference.

The Lakers are going to miss the playoffs this season, and LeBron James has been bad on defense this year. However, The King is still putting up amazing numbers on offense.

In 54 games this season, James is averaging 27.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.2 assists per contest. The four-time MVP is shooting 50.8 percent from the field, 33.4 percent from beyond the arc and 66.6 percent from the free-throw line.

LeBron has 32 double-doubles and eight triple-doubles on the season.

Obviously, his first season with the Lakers has been a disappointment, but this summer is going to be the first offseason since 2005 that James will get to rest and relax his body. LeBron has been to eight-straight NBA Finals coming into this season. It could be a blessing disguise for Los Angeles to miss the postseason so James can regroup for 2019-20.
