This is the smart move by the Lakers. LeBron James told reporters he's at about 80 percent right now. The worst thing that could happen is James tweaks his hamstring again in Golden State and is lost for the season.

In 35 games this season, LeBron is averaging 27.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.2 assists. The King is shooting 51.5 percent from the field, 35.0 percent from beyond the arc and 68.3 percent from the free-throw line.

In his first game back from the groin injury, James finished with 24 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists in 40:26. The Lakers beat the Clippers, 123-120 in overtime.

Los Angeles is 27-25 on the season, ninth place in the Western Conference standings. There's still time for the team to get back in the playoff picture. It also helps that LeBron James is back, but the best player in the world won't be available on Saturday versus the Dubs, so the Lakers will most likely lose.
