The Los Angeles Lakers are in early vacation mode after failing to make it this year’s NBA playoffs, but the team and its players continue to make the headlines. Unfortunately for Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball, he’s back in the limelight for what seems to be a very unsavory reason.

Very early Friday morning, Lonzo Ball’s Snapchat account was apparently hacked by someone who used it to promote his or her own Twitter account through a series of sleazy posts. Some of the posts claim that some private pictures of Ball and his girlfriend will be released “in an hour”. The Hacker also threatened to release Kobe Bryant’s private number when he reached 500 followers. Here's a look at the full mess that the Hacker caused on what started as a normal night for the 20-year old Lakers star:

Certain posts have since been deleted once Ball realized that his account was no longer his. He also posted this message on Twitter, claiming that he was indeed hacked.

Selected second overall in the first round of last year’s NBA draft by the Lakers, Ball’s first season in the pros was a colorful one. Like most NBA rookies, Ball had his ups and downs in his first year in the league in which he averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 assists, and 6.9 rebounds per game. His shooting has been a glaring weakness of his, as he only shot 36.0 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from the 3-point area.

As a celebrity, Ball is always going to be a target by opportunistic individuals such as this late-night troll who hacked him.
