In today's NBA, you need at least two stars on a team to be competitive. LeBron James may still be the best player in the world, but at 34-years-old, he can't carry the load like he used to.

The Lakers are going to miss the playoffs this season, the first time we won't see LeBron in the playoffs since his second season in the league during his first tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The roster Magic and Pelinka surrounded James with this season was inefficient. There wasn't enough shooting on the team, a trait players usually need when playing alongside LeBron.

Los Angeles will try and trade for Davis again this summer. They will also try and sign a star free agent, especially with the likes of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving all entering the open market in the offseason.
