For the past couple of days, Luke Walton has been part of a lot of headlines because of the controversial comments made by LaVar Ball against him. It has been the topic of numerous interviews and he has continued to give his side on different occasions, which has understandably already made him tired of it. He made that known recently and insisted that he'd rather discuss things related to his job of coaching the Los Angeles Lakers instead.

The second-year head coach added, via Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet, that he prefers to stop talking about Ball and wants his full attention for now on their game on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.

Despite being able to snap their nine-game losing streak on Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks, it has been overshadowed by the situation Walton figured in with Ball. He knows that should not have been the case as his team deserves the attention for being successful in returning to their winning ways again.

It can be recalled that the Big Baller Brand CEO publicly said that he thinks Walton “does not have control” of the Lakers anymore and that his players do not want to play for him anymore which caused a lot of fans voicing out their opinion on social media. The 37-year-old then responded that he disagrees with Ball's comments and also resulted to some head coaches to make fiery statements against him.

Tuesday's game will be an important one for Walton and the Lakers as they will look to start a winning streak and carry the momentum in their upcoming games. They are still currently tied  for last place in the West and a win on the night will take them up the standings to avoid them having the distinction of being the worst team in their conference.
