Los Angeles Lakers president Magic Johnson took to Twitter to do some campaigning for his players on Friday, urging fans to vote LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma, JaVale McGee, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball into the All-Star Game.

Surprisingly, though, Magic Johnson deleted the tweet.

As can be seen in the message, Johnson encourages their fans to vote only for the five players mentioned, which probably didn't sit well with some people in the organization.

Interestingly, after deleting his earlier post, Johnson sent out another tweet to campaign for all the Lakers players.

Maybe Rajon Rondo was wondering why he wasn't a part of Johnson's list? Or maybe LaVar Ball flew into a fit of rage over the fact that Lonzo wasn't listed first?

In all seriousness though, only one of those players truly deserves All-Star consideration and it's obviously LeBron James. It's not like James needs the assist from Magic, either, as he could sit out the entire season and still earn the most votes of any player in the league.

LeBron is currently leading all All-Star vote-getters.

This season, James is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.3 steals over 34.6 minutes per game while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor, 35.6 percent from 3-point range and 68.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The 34-year-old is in his first year of a four-year contract with the Lakers, the last of which contains a player option.

James has made 14 straight All-Star Games dating all the way back to his sophomore season during the 2004-05 campaign.

Right now, however, LeBron is sidelined with a groin injury that has kept him out the last four games. The injury will likely keep him in street clothes for at least another week.

The Lakers are just 1-3 without James thus far and have gone 21-17 overall this season.
