Friday night, United States President Donald Trump posted a vicious tweet attacking Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and CNN news anchor Don Lemon before hitting the sack. As expected, Trump has since been receiving incredible blowback from people from every corner of the internet.
To some degree of a surprise, even First Lady Melania Trump seems to have taken sides with James, with Donald Trump’s wife praising the contributions of the four-time NBA MVP to the society, via her spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham (h/t Javier E. David of CNBC).

As you know, Mrs. Trump has traveled the country and world talking to children about their well-being, healthy living, and the importance of responsible online behavior with her Be Best initiative.”
Apart from lauding and recognizing James’ effort to help improve the lives of those around him, Melania Trump also hinted at a possible future visit to the three-time NBA champ’s I Promise School in Akron, Ohio, which he opened just last Monday.
“Her platform centers around visiting organizations, hospitals and schools, and she would be open to visiting the I Promise School in Akron.”
During the interview with Lemon, also last Monday, LeBron James said that he’ll never sit across from Donald Trump, so it’s safe to assume that if ever the First Lady drops by the I Promise School, the POTUS will be absent.
