LeBron James is not the only superstar on Los Angeles Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka's good graces. In fact, the 48-year-old GM has gone out to praise two particular members of his young core — incoming sophomores Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma.
According to Lakers insider Harrison Faigen, Pelinka had nothing but good things to say about two of the team's most prized possessions and the tireless work they have put in during the offseason.
Pelinka acknowledged Ball's knee issue. However, he went on to say that the 20-year-old has been focusing on building his physique in the summer, which should pay off once the new season finally tips off.

The same goes for Kuzma. Pelinka believes that last season's breakout star's hard work over the summer, which also includes work out sessions with a particular Lakers legend, will work wonders for the upcoming season.

It is obvious that physicality has been one of the main aspects the Lakers coaching staff has focused on this summer. Perhaps the arrival of LeBron James, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound mammoth of a man, had something to do with this. LeBron's teammates will need to be in the best shape of their lives if they want to match the level of play of one of the best in the game today.
However, playing with such a great player like LeBron does come with more than a few caveats. One of them would be having a perpetual target on your back. LeBron is one of the best and in a highly-competitive league, each and every team will be gunning for him and his Lakers. Putting on some muscle should definitely work in their favor.
