All is not well in Laker Land. After Los Angeles' 133-96 drubbing at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, icon Magic Johnson put the present-day Lakers on blast for their supposed lack of effort.
The Hall of Famer took to Twitter to express his frustrations with LeBron James & Co:
After being blown out by the Nuggets 133-96, we as @Lakers fans can accept being outplayed but we deserve more than a lack of effort and no sense of urgency. Owner @JeanieBuss, you deserve better.

Russell Westbrook was asked about the criticism stemming from Magic Johnson during the Lakers‘ postgame presser. Westbrook responded by claiming he had no reaction, but then proceeded to give quite a pointed answer following that.

Via ESPN:
“I do not have a reaction,” said Russell Westbrook. “Everybody is entitled, in this world, to their opinion. Regardless of what that it is. You can either take it and run with it or you can take it and put it in one ear and out the other or you cannot respond to it.”
“Magic's entitled to his opinion,” continued the Lakers guard. “And he's not here every day. He's not around us every day. He's not aware of what's going on internally with us and trying to figure things out. But I have no response to that. … Like I said, everyone in this world is entitled to their opinion and that's that.”
As the losses continue to pile up deeper and deeper into the season, the criticism will continue to grow right alongside it. LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Lakers have their work cut out for them if they still hope to turn things around this late in the game.
