There are few more dominant teams in the history of the NBA than the Golden State Warriors' dynasty era, particularly when Kevin Durant was on the team. The Brooklyn Nets superstar recently threw some shade at Shaquille O'Neal and the Los Angeles Lakers, claiming that his Warriors would have beaten Shaq's LA team.
According to Durant, Shaq would have had all sorts of problems trying to defend the Warriors:
“Bring Shaq up in that pick an roll and test them hips,” KD said (h/t NBA on ESPN on Twitter).
Naturally, the Lakers icon clapped back at Durant's bold claim. In his mind, Shaq believes that Durant is missing the whole point:

Excellent point from the Lakers icon here. There's no denying that KD's Warriors were one of the most gifted offensive teams in the history of the NBA. However, they also played a lot of small ball. Who would have guarded Shaq on the post?
To be fair, the Warriors had guys like JaVale McGee, Kevon Looney, and Zaza Pachulia on their roster. However, you have to wonder if anyone on the Dubs would have held a candle against O'Neal. And we haven't even started talking about another Lakers superstar in Kobe Bryant.
