It's become clear over the last few years that Russell Westbrook does not like Skip Bayless. The Los Angeles Lakers star has sounded off against his critics time and time again, including Bayless. On Friday, Westbrook snapped at Bayless on Twitter after the latter used the “forbidden nickname” of Russ.

Bayless, never one to stop piling on a player, responded on Sunday with two bonkers tweets aimed at Westbrook. The first tweet started off cordially, with Bayless inviting Westbrook to go on Undisputed, before the media personality aimed shots at the Lakers star.

After that, Bayless went on another Westbrook rant. The Undisputed host slammed Westbrook for playing victim while playing horribly for the Lakers last season. I don't think Russ is going to like these comments from Skip… (via ClutchPoints)

Russell Westbrook was criticized heavily in his first season with the Lakers last season. There's a lot of truth in Skip's statements: Westbrook was underwhelming at the very least for the team. His inability to hit shots from the outside and penchant for bad turnovers hurt LA more and more over the years. It got so bad that fans were calling for him to be benched.

The Lakers brought on Westbrook in an attempt to help LeBron James out in the regular season. However, after one season, it seems like this experiment was a complete disaster. LA could already be looking to move on from this era, as they are the front-runners to nab Kyrie Irving in a trade from the Nets.
