Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Avery Bradley was hardly the most high-profile signing to make the move to Hollywood this summer, but he is already making an impact in training camp.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel spoke very highly of Bradley's ability as an individual defender as well as his apparent chemistry with some of his new teammates.

Vogel told Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times that Bradley has been the talk of camp so far:

“He’s the guy that everybody’s talking about,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. “Anthony and LeBron look imposing together, that lineup today looked imposing together. We’ve got two of the best players in the world competing together and all anybody’s talking about is Avery Bradley’s tenaciousness.”

Bradley has had quite the experience as an NBA player over the course of the last few seasons.

The former University of Texas product developed into a blossoming two-way player as a member of the Boston Celtics, making the All-Defensive First Team during the 2015-16 season before averaging a career-high 16.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game the very next year.

However, with the Celtics front office strapped for cash, Bradley was traded to the Detroit Pistons. Less than a year later, he was flipped to the Los Angeles Clippers. After signing a two-year, $25 million deal with the Clippers last summer, Bradley was traded once again in February… this time to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Bradley signed with the Lakers after clearing waivers, and he figures to add a vital component to the roster as an elite wing defender that can also shoot from the perimeter and be a scoring option.
