LaVar Ball is once again the topic of a lot of headlines when it was recently reported that he blasted Luke Walton for the team’s nine-game losing streak. He said that he thinks the Los Angeles Lakers head coach “does not have control” of the team and that their players do not want to play for him anymore.
The comments made by the Big Baller Brand CEO has resulted to fans taking to their Twitter accounts to give their reactions to it. Majority do not agree with him and questioned why he had to make those comments as they believe it could cause as a distraction inside the Lakers locker room, which will not be helpful to their cause at all.

Idk why they talk about him. Not saying he’s a good or bad dad and I’m not mad. Just don’t like him starting shit with an NBA team. Magic and Lakers already told him to not talk shit about the Lakers. Ask them if they’re mad!

Some fired back at ESPN and wanted to send their message across that Ball does not deserve to be given a lot of attention and coverage. One of them is NFL analyst Seth Joyner, who went as far as saying that there’s nothing that he says that is news worthy.

The controversy Ball is involved in now may bring him more ridiculing and trolls, but for what it’s worth, he is once again much talked about. It’s unclear if that’s what he had planned for when he made his statement about Walton, however, being the marketing genius that he is, coupled with his track record, that could truly be the case. He is successful in bringing a lot of attention to him and his family but it has definitely angered a lot of fans now and Ball may even be in danger of getting reprimanded by the NBA and the Lakers for speaking his mind too much.
