It's no secret that LeBron James will be the biggest name in this summer's free agency. He is expected to receive interest from a number of teams around the league, who will all pitch to him in the hopes of securing his services, and boost their franchise's chances of winning a title. However, the recruitment for him has already started, with a Philadelphia company putting up a billboard in Cleveland to let The King know that he's what the 76ers need to “complete the process.”
Seeing what the Sixers did, a Los Angeles Lakers super fan and marketing expert felt the need to match it. He made it possible to have some billboards put up recently where they used the hashtag “LAbron,” and are trying to lure him by highlighting the Purple and Gold's rich history, particularly having won a number of titles in the past, in a photo posted by Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times.

The creation of the billboards can be considered very timely, as James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are slated to be in L.A. this week, as they face the Clippers on Friday, and the Lakers on Sunday inside Staples Center. The fans are expected to give the former four-time MVP a warm welcome, and a feel for how he will be treated in La La Land, should he decide to sign with them in free agency.
Despite being in his 15th season this year, James continues to play at a very high level, and is not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. He has won almost all awards the league has to offer, and is a three-time champion as well. That said, his addition to whichever team he decides to join will make them instant title contenders, as well as bring a lot of attention to them, especially with his stature and popularity.
