The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly privately talked about whether superstar small forward LeBron James' 2018-19 season in terms of health was an outlier, or if it will be like this during his Lakers tenure, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
James suffered the worst injury of his career this season when he injured his left groin on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors.
LeBron, who is 34-years-old and will be 35 in December of next season, has a lot of mileage on his body.

Is this season health-related, age-related or interest-level related? Bits of all three? Is this just like James' relatively underwhelming first years in Miami and back in Cleveland, or his Michael Jordan in Washington years?
These are questions sometimes being asked within the Lakers organization, within James' own support team and even by James himself.
LeBron James still put up elite numbers this season, but his engagement level on defense was poor and The King didn't look as explosive as he usually does.
Obviously, the groin injury he suffered affected the way James was able to play for the Lakers when he returned from it.
We'll see how the four-time MVP looks next season after having a full summer off for the first time since his second year in the NBA.
