The home crowd over at Staples Center rose to their feet after Los Angeles Lakers swingman Danny Green unexpectedly rose up for the massive putback dunk against the Atlanta Hawks.

Peep the clip below posted by SportsCenter. Notice how Dwight Howard almost went completely crazy at Green's putback slam.

Lakers fans — as well as every single NBA fan — must be surprised. Green has never been known to be a high-flyer. In his NBA career, he's built a reputation as an elite defender and a shot-maker from downtown. Since he rarely displays his leaping ability, some believe that he can't even jump that high at all.

But the clip above proves otherwise. Green is still very-well in shape. He can shoot, he can defend, and when he wants to, he can throw down a monster putback slam.
