The Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference before the season was suspended. However, they were 0-3 against the Bucks and Clippers combined entering that weekend tilt, so it was important for the Purple and Gold to send a message and snag those two important victories.
Kyle Kuzma appeared in 54 games for the Lakers before the season was put to a halt. The talented swingman was averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 29.7 percent from beyond the arc and 73.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Laker fans are praying the season resumes in the summer since their favorite basketball team has a great chance of winning it all. NBA owners are hopeful of restarting games in the summer and finishing the season in September.
However, none of that can happen until the coronavirus pandemic dies down.
Led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers were 49-14 and elite on both sides of the floor. Los Angeles was averaging 114.3 points per game and giving up only 106.9.
Kuzma was the lone youngster on the Lakers to survive the Davis trade with the New Orleans Pelicans last summer. He has career averages of 16.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 201 games with L.A.
