Drake has Summer Sixteen, but LeBron James seems to have “Summer Eighteen,” as the offseason continues to be an interesting one for the new Los Angeles Lakers superstar. However, James is not dropping any bars from Drizzy. Instead, the four-time MVP went out to dance and sing to the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s timeless hit “I Will Survive” while on vacation in Italy.

Here’s video evidence of that, thanks to TMZ Sports.

This summer, James signed a massive four-year deal worth over $153 million with the Lakers. James had a choice to stay in Cleveland by picking up his player option there for the 2018-19 season, but later left Cavs fans petrified and thinking whether they could live without the three-time champion by their team’s side.

Cavs Nation, however, can avoid crumbling even after James walked out the door, especially if Cleveland signs a key free agent and/or if Collin Sexton blossoms into a star right in his very first season in the NBA. In any case, the Cavs will have to find a way to survive beyond the LeBron era.

As for the Lakers, they spent so many nights before thinking whether Paul George would go to Hollywood, but even if that didn’t happen, at least they secured the services of LeBron James.

Since James is now the “Shane Falco” of the Lakers, it would be fun if he could teach his team some I Will Survive choreography once he comes back from his lavish retreat.
