Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and NBA Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady are two of the greatest scorers in NBA history and often worked out with each other during their playing days. One can imagine just how competitive those workout sessions were between McGrady and Bryant.

Apparently, during one session, Bryant defeated McGrady 11-3 during a game of one-on-one. T-Mac, however, said that the two stars were just working on their post moves and weren't even keeping score, leading to a hilarious back and forth between the two while being interviewed by Rachel Nichols of ESPN.

This is gold. Everyone knows Kobe Bryant is one of the most competitive human beings on the planet and wants to win at everything. Tracy McGrady was pretty aggressive during his younger days as well, but T-Mac vowed that he and Kobe weren't keeping score and were just working out.

Unfortunately for us, there's no video footage of this famous workout. It would have been a treat for all basketball fans to see the Black Mamba and T-Mac work out together in a private gym.

Bryant said in his book that McGrady was the toughest player he had to guard during his NBA career. That's probably the highest praise a player can get from Kobe and McGrady said he really appreciated Bryant saying that.

McGrady had career averages of 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. He was a seven-time All-Star and won the regular season scoring title twice.

Bryant, meanwhile, had career numbers of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. Kobe was an 18-time All-Star, five-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP and won the regular season scoring title twice as well.
