Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat didn't disappoint as both teams traded haymakers in the dying moments.
It was a surefire classic that will get talked about in the years to come. But it didn't take long for other NBA stars to talk about the mind-blowing finish. They all took to Twitter to express their thoughts with emotions still running high.
That was a good ass game!!!!

Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert said he stayed up late in France just to finish the thrilling game.
That was a really good game… but it’s now 5:52 AM here, bonne nuit 😴😴😴

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum, meanwhile, praised the Heat's trust in their young guys like Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, and Kendrick Nunn, who all came up big in Game 5 against the Lakers.
Must be nice * lyfe Jennings voice* lot of coaches will make you wait ya turn. Old school. They got that shoot first ask questions later. Lot of rookies and players need the empowerment to succeed. But also the skill https://t.co/vU8bwqoe3e

Former Lakers Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and Nick Young also shared their thoughts, and some of them were almost left speechless by the cardiac matchup.

There were just so many story-lines in Game 5: LeBron James and Jimmy Butler's memorable back-and-forth, an on-target Robinson shooting the lights out, Anthony Davis having an injury scare, Nunn providing spark off the bench, Danny Green missing the potential game-winning three-pointer for the Lakers.
If Game 5 of the NBA Finals was any indication, Game 6 on Sunday night could be another nip and tuck affair. The Heat will try to extend the series to a winner-take-all Game 7, while the Lakers will take another crack at winning the championship and hang a record-tying 17th banner.
