Right now, Kyrie Irving is trying to get the best deal he can with the Brooklyn Nets. If that does not come to fruition, then it appears that he's more than happy to walk away and leave the team hanging.
If you ask former NBA champion turned NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins, however, he has some bad news for Kyrie. According to Big Perk, the Nets star just has not been the same player since he left LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers many years ago:
“The fact is since he's left LeBron James, he has not been the Kyrie Irving that we've seen in a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey,” Perkins said, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “… He played his most consistent, elite basketball alongside LeBron James.”

“If LeBron James is trying to win another championship, Kyrie Irving is the guy that he needs to pair along with Anthony Davis to deliver another title with the Lakers,” Perk said of the Nets guard.

While it may sound improbable, Kyrie's links to the Lakers just won't go away. He seemed destined to leave the Nets already, and at this point, a stunning reunion with LeBron in Hollywood is becoming quite realistic.
