LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of a disappointing campaign where they're currently 27-34 and out of the playoff picture, which means the team will have to go through the play-in tournament. It's now even got to the point where their own fans are booing them at Crypto.com Arena. That drew a rather strong response from Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who reminded the Lakers faithful of where this organization was at in 2020. Via the Draymond Green Show:
Let's not be brats. That was about the brattiest thing I've ever seen, considering this team won a championship not even a full two years ago.
Draymond sounded off about the Lakers being booed by their fans 😳

To be honest, Green has a point. it wasn't a good look for the Lakers or their supporters. Sure, the team is struggling, but having their own fans turn on them isn't going to help. While Los Angeles has dealt with their fair share of injury problems, especially to Anthony Davis, they've simply just struggled to find chemistry and play defense. The Russell Westbrook experiment has also been a disaster.
The Lakers are now on a three-game losing skid and AD isn't expected to return for another month. Even though LeBron is playing at an extremely high level, he needs help. That's all there is to it. Frank Vogel's squad now has 21 games to turn things around. Maybe, the negative energy at home will motivate them to salvage this dismal campaign.
