Memphis Grizzlies offseason acquisition Chandler Parsons is set to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Parsons was recovering from a meniscus surgery in his right knee dating back to March.

The Grizzlies have stayed afloat without their new addition with a 3-2 record, as they go into tonight's game against the L.A. Clippers and face the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday before the Florida product suits up for the first time this season.

James Ennis has been starting at small forward in his absence and will likely still see some playing time even when Parsons returns, having scored 15 or more in three of five starts this season.

Parsons will likely have his minutes monitored to start the season. The lanky 28-year-old forward averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds while making 49 percent from the field and 41 percent from deep last season as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
