The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the NBA's hottest teams as winners of seven straight games. The Grizzlies' latest victory came at the expense of the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, with Memphis cruising to a dominant 133-102 victory.
Star point guard Ja Morant voiced his support for backup point guard Tyus Jones, who tallied 14 assists off the bench. This nearly set a franchise record:

Jones also racked up 11 point, making him one of nine Grizzlies players to score in double figures. This did set a franchise record:

Surprisingly enough, it was Gorgui Dieng who led Memphis with 19 points off the bench. All five Grizzlies starters hit double digits, including Morant with 13, and then four bench players hit the mark as well. That includes rookie Desmond Bane (10 points), who also got a shoutout from Morant:

After a tightly contested opening frame, Memphis pulled away from the Spurs in the second quarter by way of a 36-point explosion. They continued to assert themselves on both ends of the floor and managed to keep a comfortable lead over their opponent the rest of the way.
The Grizzlies then really stepped on the pedal in the final frame to earn the 31-point victory. After a slow start to the season featuring an ankle injury for Morant, the Grizzlies are in the midst of a major turnaround to get to 9-6 on the season. They did see their season delayed due to COVID-19, but that hasn't slowed them down of late.
Ja Morant and his Grizzlies squad will set their sights on their eighth consecutive victory when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
