The Memphis Grizzlies are currently one of the most dangerous teams in the NBA thanks to an extremely complete group headlined by Ja Morant. While he hasn't received a lot of MVP recognition this season, many believe Ja should be in the conversation.

But if you're asking the Grizzlies star himself, he could care less about winning the prestigious award. His focus? Winning a title:

The definition of a team player. He did mention Most Improved Player, Defensive Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year “runs through Memphis”.

Morant is putting up insane numbers, averaging 27.6 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.7 rebounds, which led to him being named an All-Star Game starter in February. His competition for MVP is fierce though, with the likes of big men Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic currently leading the way.

The Grizzlies rely heavily on Ja, but they're also getting it done without him. The third-year guard is currently out with a knee injury yet Memphis is still winning games with authority, taking out the Nets and Pacers in back-to-back games.

While it might seem like a bit of a longshot the Grizzlies could win it all, it's not crazy to think they make it to the Western Conference Finals, especially if Morant keeps playing at such a high level.
