After getting swallowed alive at the rim by Utah Jazz star Rudy Gobert in the first half, Memphis Grizzlies youngster Ja Morant made sure his next attempt would be unstoppable.

Midway though the fourth quarter of their Game 2 playoff series with the Jazz, Morant surprised everyone–including Gobert–as he took off near the basket and caught Kyle Anderson's alley-oop pass before throwing down an insane reverse slam.

Here's the crazy play that Morant actually did in a playoff game … even with a two-time Defensive Player of the Year waiting.

Now that's a sweet revenge for Ja Morant. What made the dunk even more amazing was the fact that the second-year guard scored his 4oth point of the contest with it, breaking the Grizzlies' record for points in a playoff game–in just his second postseason outing!

Morant eventually finished with 47 points on top of seven assists. He went 15-of-26 from the field and punished the Jazz from the charity stripe, making 15 of his 20 attempts.

Unfortunately, his efforts weren't enough to lead the Grizzlies to victory and onto a 2-0 lead. The Jazz made sure to bounce back after their Game 1 upset, securing a 141-129 W in Donovan Mitchell's long-awaited return from ankle injury.

With the way Ja is playing, though, Grizzlies fans should only be excited as the series shifts to Memphis.
