In Saturday night’s 124-107 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson became the fastest player in NBA history to make 500 career three-pointers. While Robinson and his team celebrated the milestone, Heat forward Bam Adebayo had a hilarious comment on Robinson’s accomplishment Saturday night.
When Adebayo was asked if he took pride in Robinson’s milestone, Adebayo responded with a hilarious reply, per Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald.
Bam Adebayo on if he takes pride in Duncan Robinson's milestone because of their symbiotic on-court relationship: "Duncan needs to take my big ass to dinner."

Both Robinson and Adebayo have a great relationship on and off the court that the two often have humorous moments with one another. When Robinson was asked about how the milestone occurred, he stated that he wanted to take things game by game and continue to be a factor for his team in a positive way.

Robinson has continued to play a prominent role for the Miami Heat in his first three seasons. He's averaging 12.3 points per game in his career and is shooting 42 percent from long range. Robinson began showing emergence last season as head coach Erik Spoelstra made the change to insert him into the starting lineup. Robinson and the Heat finished last season as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. They quickly became the Cinderella story of the NBA bubble as Miami made their first NBA Finals appearance since 2014.
Robinson has continued to be the starting lineup this season but seemed to have lost some momentum from last season. The Miami Heat have struggled throughout the season with injuries and different lineups. The Heat are currently seventh in the East, which puts them right inside the NBA Play-In Tournament window.
