Miami Heat guard Jimmy Butler has news for anyone thinking the NBA Finals will be over in Game 5: they're just getting started. Though the Heat find themselves backed into a corner by the Los Angeles Lakers, Butler clapped back at the doubters ahead of Game 5 on Friday night.

Butler has been resolved throughout the NBA Finals, even in the midst of finding himself facing a 2-0 deficit early on. After going down 2-0, he went on record stating that if the Heat could win one in the next game (Game 3), they may be onto something.
He went on to save the Heat's season in Game 3 of the NBA Finals after putting on a show. He finished the nail-biting outing with his first 40-point triple-double in the NBA Finals. It was also only the third time that the feat had been accomplished by a player; behind only Jerry West and LeBron James.

That same performance didn't carry much weight into Game 4. Butler often found himself being the only option on an off-shooting night for most of the team until late in the contest. Butler tried to get his teammates involved as time narrowed down, but it was to no avail.
Big man sensation Bam Adebayo recently returned to action in Game 4 against the Lakers, contributing 15 points and seven rebounds in 33 minutes of action. After shaking off a little minor rust, expect Adebayo to get back in the 38-41 minute range as he contributes to staving off the Heat's elimination.
Critical role players such as Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson will also have to be more efficient from 3-point range, which will also take some pressure off of Butler and allow him to create more plays for his shooters.
