Kendrick Perkins delivered a massive warning to the NBA, specifically the East: don't be surprised if the Miami Heat make it all the way to the Finals.

In a heated debate on ESPN's First Take, Perkins noted that anything can happen in the Orlando bubble. As such, he said that the Heat have a legitimate chance to represent the East in the title bout.

“Don’t be surprised because anything can happen in this bubble. So, I’m not counting out this Miami Heat team out to at least come out of the East. Don’t be surprised,” Perk said.

To beef up his argument, Perkins reminded everyone of the regular season duel between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Heat, which the latter won 105-89.

The Bucks are heavily favored to represent the East and even win the title, but according to big Perk, their last match-up with the Heat proved that Miami can counter Giannis Antetokounmpo. For what it's worth, the Greek Freak finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds in that game.

“Before the pandemic when I watched that last game when the Miami Heat faced the Milwaukee Bucks, they straight up annihilated them. They got multiple bodies that they could throw at Giannis. They’re a deep team. Well coached by Erik Spoelstra. And I want don’t face a grind-me-out team with all those guys down there they got up out the mud,” Kendrick Perkins exclaimed.

Analysts have been raving about the Heat's chances since the team acquired key players Jae Crowder and Andre Iguodala in February. Some say that with this move, Pat Riley showed he is indeed gunning for the title.

It remains to be seen if Miami can live up to expectations, but as Perk said it, anything can happen in the bubble.
