Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade is known to have an ownership stake in the Utah Jazz. That's why it's particularly interesting to wonder where his allegiance lies amid rumors of his former team being interested in Jazz frontman Donovan Mitchell.

One recently viral video in particular has made the rounds and may have a few Jazz fans raising their brows. D-Wade was signing autographs during NBA Summer League when one kid asked him about whether or not he was trying to bring Spida over to Miami:

“DWade, you gonna bring Donovan to Miami?” the fan asked.

“Yeah,” said the Heat icon.

In all fairness to Dwyane Wade, there are a number of different possibilities that could have happened there beyond confirming that he's a double agent for Pat Riley in Utah.

For starters, D-Wade had the look of a man who had signed his 100th autograph of the day. He barely even glanced over at the kid as he signed the ball and might have just been responding in the affirmative to anything he'd hear just to be polite.

There's also the possibility that the audio was faked. It isn't exactly a compelling video that couldn't just have a spliced recording in there to spark intrigue.

But if you ask Heat fans, they'll be the first to tell you that their man D-Wade is likely in Donovan Mitchell's ear about how great it is to win a ring in Miami.

The Utah Jazz seem to be in flux and are now reportedly fielding offers for the All-Star guard after initial reports that they wouldn't pick up the phone. Whether some of those calls are being facilitated through Dwyane Wade remains to be seen.
