Kevin Durant is now sided with the Golden State Warriors, forming what’s arguably the most potent foursome, together with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, in league history.
Prior to agreeing with the Warriors, a flurry of meetings with Durant occurred with multiple teams throwing their best pitch to land a generational talent. One of them was the Miami Heat.

Durant’s meeting came as the second major step in this year’s free agency by Miami. With Hassan Whiteside’s re-signing and talks with Dwyane Wade sandwiching the session.
The Heat lost out on this summer’s biggest sweepstakes, so the team has shifted its focus on carefully preparing for the future as they stockpile their roster with cheap contracts and young studs to retain cap flexibility.
