The NBA today is dominated by a plethora of players who have the ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc, as well as those who can finish inside the paint. That said, the perimeter jumpers have become a lost art in the league, with only a few players continuing to use it on a regular basis.

Chris Paul is one of them as he takes a number of jump shots during games, but if there’s someone who can win a midrange contest should there be one, it is likely going to be Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton. In a chart made by Reddit user Django_Freeman, it shows that the 26-year-old former Texas A&M Aggie is leading all other players in the league in terms of shots made from 14-15 feet away from the basket.

After his injury-plagued campaign last year, Middleton has regained his old form and is currently enjoying his best season as a pro, with career-high averages of 20.0 points, on 46.3 percent shooting from the field and 5.3 rebounds, to go along with 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 36.8 minutes per game.

More importantly, he has complimented the game of Giannis Antetokounmpo well and made it possible for them to be in sixth place in the Eastern Conference for now with a 32-25 record.

If Khris Middleton could continue playing at the same level he’s currently in and knocks down shots from the perimeter on a consistent basis, he will give the Bucks a weapon they can use to their advantage throughout the season. He can also prove that the lost art is still an effective scoring weapon to have even if it’s not the most popular way to score points in today’s game anymore. Despite the lack of flair involved, it's still worth two points just like any other basket inside the arc. In other words, it's simple but very effective.
