Aside from being the NBA’s reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is also known for his playful humor.

From making jokes about possibly retiring after winning a championship to the kind of homecourt advantage he wanted to have in the NBA Bubble last year, the Greek Freak has got almost as many jokes as he has moves on the court.

On Sunday night, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55, the Bucks star found a way to make a joke about the performer at the halftime show, The Weeknd. Antetokounmpo managed to make a pun for his followers on Twitter while noting the absence of the performers from last year’s halftime show, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

Fortunately, the joke appeared to go over well with most of his followers, who appreciated that the two-time MVP had jokes. It is no surprise that the four-time All Star was watching Super Bowl 55, as he is a fan of the sport and has supported the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers–even congratulating him for winning his third MVP award.

The Bucks forward also watched last year’s halftime show and even tweeted that he almost got in trouble after watching it.

There’s plenty of reason for the Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks to be happy about right now, as the team has won four straight games and sit second in the Eastern Conference with a 15-8 record. The team will play the Denver Nuggets in their next game on Monday, where they will go for five straight wins.
