Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has flourished in head coach Mike Budenholzer's system this season, and the swingman says he's playing a lot smarter.

Antetokounmpo's scoring, rebounding and passing numbers are all up this season. The Greek Freak says Budenholzer has helped him become a better player:

“I think Coach Bud has helped me a lot,” Antetokounmpo said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “He didn’t know that I was able to pass the ball that well. He told me in the beginning of the season, he said, ‘I knew you were a great player, but coming in I wanted to work with you to be able find your teammates. I didn’t know you already had it in you.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, Coach. One of the things I do is find my teammates.’

“And now, I think with him, I play way smarter. I have the ball less coming down the floor, but I find guys more.”

Entering Tuesday, Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting up a stat line that only the legendary Oscar Robertson has achieved.

Giannis is averaging 27.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 58.2 percent from the field. Many believe Mike Budenholzer should win Coach of the Year for the way he has transformed this Bucks team into a championship contender.

Milwaukee's brass is thrilled Giannis and Budenholzer are getting along and have a great relationship.
