It takes a village to slow down a physically imposing force such as Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Milwaukee Bucks frontman is used to it by now with teams constantly sending droves of defenders and double-teams his way.
The Boston Celtics are no exception. The owners of the NBA's best defense, which features the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, a handful of long, athletic wing defenders, as well as rim-protectors like Al Horford and Robert Williams offer a handful of live bodies to throw at the Bucks star.
But the two-time MVP isn't bothered at all. In fact, Giannis knows that it comes with the territory.
Via The Athletic:

“It’s playoff basketball and it’s gonna be a little bit more physical, but you know if you’re about that, you’re about that,” the Bucks star said after pouring in 42 points in Game 3. “If you’re not, you’re gonna shy away from it.”
After bringing back most of the championship core from last season, the Bucks have a roster top to bottom that knows what it takes to win it all. With Giannis Antetokounmpo openly welcoming the contact, it's hard not to follow his lead.
“I don’t think any of our teammates shy away from it. … All the guys that play on this team, we love physicality,” the Greek Freak continued.
The Bucks hold a 2-1 lead over the Celtics through three games. If they hope to end the series as the victors, there's a lot more physical punishment coming their way. Giannis knows they're ready for it.
