The 2022 NBA All-Star Game was an eventful affair featuring Stephen Curry making history from 3-point range and LeBron James burying a dagger 3-pointer to end it, among many other notable moments. One such moment was between Milwaukee Bucks teammates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. So much so, Antetokounmpo even had to apologize.

According to the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo feels “terrible” for blocking Khris Middleton's layup in the All-Star Game. Middleton made a nice move to the basket, and out of instinct, Antetokounmpo jumped up and blocked the shot. It was all fun and games, though, as Giannis proclaimed how bad he felt afterward:

Regardless of this, the Bucks stars went out there and had some fun, even though they were on opposing teams. Maybe one day Khris Middleton can return the favor, but for now, Giannis Antetokounmpo has the one-up on his teammate.

These two stars can now look ahead to the rest of the season. Milwaukee finds itself just two and a half games behind first place in a tight Eastern Conference race. The Bucks have played as one of the best teams in the league, largely due to Antetokounmpo and Middleton's efforts. They each deserved an appearance in the All-Star Game, and it was hilarious to hear Giannis “feel terrible” for blocking his teammate's shot.

We'll see how the Bucks finish off the back half of the regular season. Playoffs are right around the corner and Milwaukee is in a good spot to make another championship push. We'll see how it all plays out, but don't be shocked if Antetokounmpo and Middleton find a way to get their team back to the NBA Finals.
