Milwaukee Bucks All-Star wing Khris Middleton is the latest notable NBA player to enter the league's health and safety protocols.

The Bucks listed Middleton as out for Tuesday's game vs. the Detroit Pistons.

Middleton sat out Milwaukee's 107-95 loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday due to an undisclosed illness. Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer said he was “assuming” it was not related to COVID-19.

It's unclear how many games Middleton will miss. Players who test positive for COVID-19 have to quarantine for at least 10 days or produce two negative tests at least 24 hours apart. Close contacts have a shorter waiting period depending on their vaccination status.
