The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to upgrade their roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo for a championship push, and they have their eyes on a few guards to bolster their backcourt.
One player is a blast from the past in Brandon Knight:
Ex-Bucks guard Brandon Knight worked out with the Bucks on Saturday, source told @TheUndefeated. The eight-year veteran guard has overcome knee issues and regained explosiveness. The Bucks saw Knight workout in Miami earlier this year and are considering a guard for open spot.

Knight had his first stint with the Bucks during the 2013-14 season when Giannis was still a rookie in the league. The team was composed of several notable veterans in O.J. Mayo, Ersan Ilyasova, Caron Butler, and Larry Sanders.
The Kentucky product served as one of the primary catalysts of the squad as he generated 17.8 points and notched career-best shooting percentages from the field, 3-point area, and free-throw line during his season-plus in Milwaukee. Despite his production, the Miami native still found himself in the middle of a three-team trade as the Bucks opted to head in a different direction.

Knight landed with the Phoenix Suns and had short stints with the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers afterward. Knight last played for the Detroit Pistons back in the 2019-20 season, averaging 11.6 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 11 games played.
Aside from Knight, the Bucks are also making a run at Austin Rivers after getting bought out by the Oklahoma City Thunder:
The Milwaukee Bucks are leaders to sign Austin Rivers upon clearing waivers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. There’s strong mutual interest between the sides. https://t.co/xnw7aherEe

Rivers was just traded to the Thunder from the New York Knicks ahead of the trade deadline, but there was no place for him on an Oklahoma City team prioritizing a youth movement.
