The television broadcast of the Boston Celtics-Milwaukee Bucks Game 7 matchup won't be cutting to a live stream of rabid Bucks fans surrounding a giant wide screen just outside Fiserv Forum.
The Milwaukee Bucks have decided against holding a watch party outside of their arena on Sunday. Fans looking to come together will have to look elsewhere to witness their home team play Game 7 more than a thousand miles away in Boston.
The decision was due to the news that there were three separate shooting incidents injuring 21 people in downtown Milwaukee immediately following the conclusion of Game 6 last Friday. The decision was made by Bucks executives in coordination with city and public safety agencies, according to the comprehensive report from ESPN.

In a separate statement, the Bucks said: “The shootings that happened in downtown Milwaukee last night were horrific and we condemn this devastating violence,” adding the watch party was canceled “to allow law enforcement to devote needed resources to the continued investigation of last night's events.” The team noted that Deer District businesses will remain open.
The gate count was expected to be over 10,000 attendees had the watch party pushed through. There were even more spectators than that during Game 6 in Fiserv Forum, which was already filled to the brim with nearly 20,000 in attendance.
