Guard Jevon Carter intends to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Carter was released by the Brooklyn Nets in order to sign Goran Dragic and can sign with Milwaukee on Wednesday.
The Bucks are set to sign their second waived Nets player. They've already signed Deandre Bembry and will now add Carter to the mix.
Going out and getting Jevon Carter isn't a bad idea for the Bucks. He hasn't been playing great basketball for the Nets this season, but he is still a capable defender who has demonstrated the ability to fill in for other players who are injured. This season, he's only averaging 3.6 points per game, but he only plays 12 minutes a night.

Jevon Carter is unlikely to play many minutes for the Milwaukee Bucks this season, but it is a move that will allow some of the team's important players to avoid playing lengthy minutes during the regular season in order to stay healthy for the playoffs.
The transaction is expected to be completed on Wednesday, and he might possibly play in the next Bucks game on Saturday.
