The Milwaukee Bucks have introduced their City Edition jerseys which design was inspired by the MECCA.

The MECCA refers to the former home arena. Designed by Robert Indiana, the arena was considered one of the most unique arenas during that time. And for the Bucks, the colors represented success as it was in the MECCA that they became known to the whole world. As observed, the clip features some legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabar — who led the team to their first title in franchise history in 1971.

In a press release via NBA.com:

“Inspired by the bold colors of their renowned MECCA era that represented Milwaukee to the world and defined a generation of success, the Bucks are celebrating risk-taking and the art of the game by introducing the team’s 2018-19 City Edition uniform.”

The Bucks unveiled the jerseys last year in a game against the Boston Celtics and even played in the MECCA as a tribute. This season, they will don the jersey a total of 12 times. Mark your calendars with the dates below to catch the franchise wear the legendary jerseys:
