Thousands of Star Wars geeks made the trip to Disneyland for the opening of “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” on May 31. Among those were the NBA's very own Lopez brothers, Brook Lopez of the Milwaukee Bucks and Robin Lopez of the Chicago Bulls.

Melissa Stetten spotted the twin towers roaming around at the opening of the attraction and posted a clip on Twitter:

Robin and Brook are obviously enjoying their time in the offseason. Aside from being two really tall dudes playing basketball, both are also big time Disney and Star Wars geeks.

Robin Lopez's season ended early, with the Chicago Bulls nowhere near playoff contention. Robin was the talk of trade rumors at the beginning of the 2018-19 season, but Chicago chose to stick with him as a valued veteran presence on the floor and in the locker room. He averaged 14.4 points and 5.6 rebounds for the tanking Bulls in 24 starts after the All-Star break.

Brook Lopez, on the other hand, just ended his impressive 2018-19 campaign this past week after the Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals. Brook averaged 12.5 points, a career-high 2.2 blocks and 2.3 3-pointers — also a career-best — in the regular season. More importantly, he was also a key cog in the team's 2019 playoff run.

Come to think of it, Brook might have not even made the opening of the Star Wars attraction had they advanced to the Finals. Nevertheless, he would probably rather play for the championship than spend his time in an amusement park.
