Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley had tons of fun on Wednesday at the expense of LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

After making strong back-to-back plays late in the second quarter of the game, Beverley couldn't help but flex at the Lakers. Following his hustle for a rebound and a basket, he deflected the ball to stop the LA offense and actually give the Timberwolves the possession. Anthony Edwards then used the opportunity to draw a foul, handing the Purple and Gold more frustration amid the early makings of a blowout.

Beverley added insult to injury when he went to LeBron and slapped his butt as he hypes the Timberwolves.

Here's how Patrick Beverley celebrated his plays:

It has always been Beverley's style to get in the heads of his opponents, so his latest antic shouldn't surprise LeBron James and the Lakers. However, there is no doubt he has the right to get that hyped given how he has played so far for the Timberwolves.

Perhaps the Lakers can learn something from the feisty guard, especially since LeBron and co. seems to be lacking the energy and spirit to even win in recent games. The game against the Timberwolves isn't the first time they were pummeled early, but fans have yet to see a response from them.

Surely, they need that hunger and desire to win at all cost that Beverley just showed.
