The Minnesota Timberwolves are doing everything they can to hang on. And Derrick Rose will try and help.
Rose will be available to play today in a pivotal game vs. the Utah Jazz as the Timberwolves hope to hang on to prime position to make the playoffs in the brutal Western Conference.

Biggest game since 2011-12? That just goes to show exactly how long it's been since the Wolves have been in position to accomplish a playoff berth with some meaningful expectations.
Article Continues BelowThe addition of Jimmy Butler to Tom Thibodeau's arsenal really moved the needle this season while Rose was a bonus pickup after his trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers at the deadline.
Rose has appeared in five games and is averaging 6.6 points per game for the Timberwolves this season. He hasn't played since March 20 as he's been nursing an injury.
Rose will hopefully help the cause for the Wolves against a tough Utah Jazz team. It will be interesting to see how Minnesota manages the remainder of the year and if Rose can truly help out.
