One of the new members of the pack, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jimmy Butler, has adopted a new look for the rest of this offseason and likely this upcoming season.

The 27-year-old ditched his signature haircut for some awesome braids, resemblant of his new teammate Andrew Wiggins, who's been known to wear them similarly at some points during the NBA campaign.

Butler also seems to have a new nickname in mind, switching from Jimmy G. Buckets to Jimmy G. Braids, according to his caption — as he seems ready to play yet another game of spades on the plane.

Butler isn't just likely to boast a new hairstyle to this upcoming season but a much-improved ensemble alongside him in the starting lineup with the additions of Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson, as well as three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner Jamal Crawford.

You play as good as you look — and if the high-scoring wing's new braids are any indication — he's bound for a career-best season with Minnesota in a matter of months.
